I was quite dissapointed to hear today that Juan Pablo Montoya has been released by McLaren with immediate effect following his decision to quit for Nascar at the end of the season. The Colombian will be replaced by test driver Pedro de la Rosa for the rest of the present campaign.
I think this is quite sad as he was always a character in the paddock but unfortunately his race form for McLaren never quite lived to the expectations built up as a member of the Williams Formula 1 team!
