A Craig Fagan penalty put Hull City on top of League One for the first time since early January.

However, manager Peter Taylor admitted he was unhappy about his side's performance over the 90 minutes: "Sometimes you have to dig in and this was one of those times. Port Vale was better than us for much of the game."

But I think one point is better than zero, especially with the outcome of Tranmere Rovers match!
