Marketing chiefs are hoping to use Hull FC's high profile Challenge Cup victory to boost interest in the city. City officials believe the 25-24 win over Leeds has put the city's name on the map for the right reasons.
Hull Cityimage, the body in charge of promoting the city, said it was going to use the confidence generated by the result to positive effect.
Director John Till said: "We have got a whole number of things that we will be looking to do to build on this."
