McLaren F1 unveils New Car!

McLaren unveiled its striking new car livery to team and Mercedes-Benz employees on Friday evening. McLaren is hoping to repeat the experience of 1997, the last time it introduced a major livery change, when it won on its first outing in the silver colours of tobacco brand West at the Australian Grand Prix.

The MP4-21 sports a black and red paint scheme with a distinctive chrome surface coating. The sidepods of the car bear allegiance to whisky brand Johnnie Walker, the team’s primary sponsor this year pending the arrival of Vodafone as title sponsor in 2007.
