Coldplay storm into album chart!

Coldplay's third album X&Y has rocketed to the top of the album chart and is on course to become one of the biggest sellers of all time. It is believed 464,000 copies were sold by Saturday, making it the second fastest-selling album since records began in the early 1990s.

Only the 1997 Oasis album, Be Here Now, has ever performed better in its first week, with 695,761 copies sold.
