Hull 1 - Millwall 1

Ben Burgess's equaliser saved City from a third successive home defeat. City started the game with a 4-4-2 formation, with Mark Lynch, Andy Dawson, Stuart Green and Nick Barmby recalled to the starting line-up. Curtis Woodhouse did his job on the post to clear a Carl Asaba header from a 12th minute Millwall corner.

Nick Barmby had the best of a series of half-chances for City, lobbing just over. Ben Burgess came on at half time as Peter Taylor changed to a formation talked about before the game. Despite City's new attacking style, it was Millwall who scored first. A cross came in and Myhill saved from Dunne, but the rebound fell to Asaba who shot into the empty net, just after the hour mark. City showed spirit to fight their way back into the game being played under heavy rain, but were failing to create anything to worry the visitors.

City continued to go after it until the final whistle, but a winner didn't come and both sides will be happy enough with a point. I think that if Ben Burgess hadn't come on the game would have been lost as at present Stuart Elliot still cannot find his feet in this division, hopefully it will only be a matter of time!
