Second placed Hull City loose to league leaders Luton!

Not the news I wanted to hear at 5.00p.m. today but League One Leaders Luton won the game against Hull City but until the dying moments of the game Hull would have got a point and this is certainly no less than I personally think we deserved! What a finish to League One's biggest fixture of the season so far.

Just as they were beginning to rue a stack of missed chances, Luton won this eagerly anticipated sell-out clash between the top two with an 88th-minute header from Ahmet Brkovic to move four points clear and avenge a 3-0 defeat by Peter Taylor's Tigers in the corresponding match in October.

Unfortunately League One's leading goal scorer Stuart Elliot is still injured or I think Hull would have taken the spoils of this fixture once again, as they did at the KC, but really there is nothing that bad about being second in the league out of a total of 24 teams!
