Over the past week I have watched three different films all on DVD, the DVD's where, and beneath the title is what I though of them;
Highwayman
Rennie Cray's wife was murdered in a hit-and-run accident over five years ago. During this time Rennie - played by Jim Caviezel - has driven across America, in every direction, looking for the man who committed the deed. That man is James Fargo - played by Colm Feore, a wheel-bound psychopath who hunts down and kills women at random.
Ghostship and
The lovingly detailed design work is the best thing about this gruesome maritime shocker. When salvage expert Byrne and his crew board the Italian oceanliner Antonia Graza in the Bering Sea, they step on to a modern day Marie Celeste, a deserted floating palace reported missing four decades ago in the North Atlantic. The splendid sets certainly look the part, combining rusted grandeur with numerous shadowy companionways, and they're creepy enough to keep the audience on edge after the opening flashback's grandiose carnage.
Foolproof
A very watchable film about 3 young people who plan robberies they never carry out just for the fun of it. But one day one of their plans is stolen & predictably....Shame about the f words. These seem to have been inserted just to get the rating they wanted or the film could easily been a PG.
