Today I made my way to Liverpool, to complete my presentation based around the general election, for the Scope Fast Track graduate recruitment programme. This evening I stayed at the Alfreton Branch of Travelodge to make it easier to get to the interview at 10.00a.m. in the morning, without having to drive all night! Which would not have been a good plan, hence my belated blog posts over the last couple of days!
In the evening I went for a walk along a canal, in Sankey Valley Park which is very near to the start of the Trans Penine Trail, a footpath which actually ends up in Hornsea! I enjoyed this as in East Yorkshire there are very few canals.
