Voters decide on next government

Today is the day of the UK's general election and therefore I did my bit and went to cast a vote, however I am still not to sure how the election will pan out, we will just have to hope it is either Blair/Brown or Charles Kennedy as I think a vote for the Conservatives would be a very big mistake, just look at the things Michael Howard did in the past e.g. Poll Tax.

Maybe some voters can forgive and forget but not this one, especially after his performance under Maggie Thatcher! Even though after I say all this the Conservatives will probably still win as our Constituency has a lot of farmers and they only seem to be able to vote Conservative!

P.S. Do feel free to drop any comments in the box below or fill in the Blogger comments section!

The elections ar a big fat scam. The tories will win unles the labour voters VOTE. Labour half deserves to be kicked out because of their terrible performance whenit came to iraq (or maybe tony blairs performance)whichever way, the elections are meaningles, you will only be able to make a difference on a local level, maybe the farmers have the right idea since the tories DO rob the poor and give to the middle english right winged chavs.

Not sure what you mean. The results of general elections have always as Monty Python said, been due to the number of votes cast.

Yes, they have but they will never really get anywhere because all the people who did not want labour in power did not want the tories in power even more. They were forced to choose between the lesser of the two evils, at least the lesser won. The farmers (the majority of whom vote tory) have the right idea because when they vote they vote on mass for who they WANT to win, not for whom they have conceded will win because if they do not the other, worse party will win. If people could mass vote, becasue they felt strongly about the same issue, then maybe democracy would work. For now until 5 years time we are stuck with labour and maybe tony blair
